Costa Blanca is
situated in southern Spain in the region of Valencia, where it
has all year round mild temperatures. Reaching from Benidorm down to
San Pedro. It boasts magnificent old towns of Orihuela and Murcia
surrounded by orange and lemon groves and lovely views of the
surrounding mountains.
There are
many beautiful white sandy beaches most with blue flag status,
varying from long stretches to small coves. There are two big natural
salt-water lagoons, which together with the local temperatures create
a healthy microclimate. It is claimed to be the second healthiest
place in the world to live in after California.
Salt is
still taken from various lakes and is exported to many countries
around the world.
The salt lakes are a favorite place for flamingos to flock which you
can see all year round.
The Spanish are very proud of their Festivals
which occur throughout the year in various towns and villages.
In Costa
Blanca you are never too far away from a golf course. The most
